Hand #94: Andras Koroknai Wins the WPT LA Poker Classic! ($1,788,040)

Level 34: 75,000-150,000, 25,000 ante

Andras Koroknai moves all in from the button, and Raymond Dolan calls with Qclub4heart. Koroknai dominates him with Qheart8heart, and Dolan will need to improve to stay alive.

Dolan's friends cheer "Four! Four! Four! Four!"

The flop comes 10heart9heart4diamond, and Dolan pairs his four to take the lead. But Koroknai picks up a flush draw.

The turn card is the 7spade, and Koroknai picks up additional outs with an open-ended straight draw. He'll win the tournament on a jack, eight, six, or any heart.

The river card is -- the Kheart! Andras Koroknai wins the pot -- and the tournament -- with a heart flush. His friends begin chanting in Hungarian, and literally lift Andras up off his feet and repeatedly throw him in the air. It was like a mosh pit on the WPT stage.

Raymond Dolan finishes as the runner-up, but he is all smiles as he becomes a WPT Millionaire in his first WPT event, earning $1,002,710.

Andras Koroknai wins the WPT Commerce LA Poker Classic, earning $1,788,040, a WPT bracelet, a watch, and a huge Commerce trophy. That also includes entry into the $25,500 WPT World Championship at Bellagio in April.

Congratulations to Andras Koroknai!

Hand #79: Andras Koroknai Doubles Through Raymond Dolan

Level 33: 60,000-120,000, 20,000 ante

Raymond Dolan raises from the button to 300,000, Andras Koroknai thinks for a bit before he reraises from the small blind to 775,000, and Dolan thinks for about 30 seconds before he calls.

The flop comes AclubQdiamond2diamond, Koroknai bets 875,000, Raymond Dolan raises to 2,000,000, and Koroknai thinks for nearly two minutes before he moves all in for 3,730,000.

With all eyes on Dolan, he goes into the tank, resting his chin on his hand and moving his eyes back and forth between the board and his opponent. After a minute, the total size of the raise is announced, and Dolan counts his own stack to see how it would affect him. (Dolan has about 1.66 million more than Koroknai.)

Finally, after three minutes, Dolan calls with Aheart6heart (pair of aces). Koroknai shows AspadeJclub for a pair of aces with a higher kicker. Koroknai needs this hand to hold to stay alive.

The turn card is the Adiamond, giving both players trips and a chance for a chopped pot.

The river card is the 10club, and Andras Koroknai wins the pot with trip aces and his jack kicker to double up in chips.

Koroknai's friends in the stands begin a Hungarian chant in celebration as the chips are moved across the table.
